Lamenton Road, Mumbai : It was a busy Saturday evening. Lamenton road is famous for computer pheripherals, parts and repair. People from all over flood to each shop, to get the quotation and finally zero on the least rate to buy everything regarding a computer or a laptop.

Me and my friend where there to buy an external hard drive and where in a shop shopping for the most economical bargain. Just then one middle age man landed in to the shop. He has an old laptop which has a strange problem. His laptop screen was not working, but when pressed it was working. The shop owner looked at it, took a knife, nicely and surgically put the knife in between the screen and the screen frame of the laptop and put a small piece of paper in between the frame and the screen.  He adjusted it like a craft and boom the screen was working.

He said look, if u change the screen it will cost u more than the price of the laptop u can sell for.  So, u better keep it this way. That was economically, unique and indigenous solution and the most simplest way to solve.

And the price a simple 50 bugs, that too the laptop owner gave of will. Strange was the situation, strange was the solution. The laptop guy went with bliss of saving thousands and the shopkeeper has a spark in the eye for giving someone that smile or for getting an unparalleled idea.

Solutions could be simple, elegant and economical. And to get that solution you do not need complex algorithms, all you need in an indigenous Indian brain.

Truly unique are the ways India Inc works.
