The infants from their mothers, the youths from their friends, the middle aged from their family and the old from their grandchildren. Men and Women of all ages want to love and be loved all through their lives.

Love is one grand emotion that soothes and brings peace in people. And the very definition of this ABSTRACT emotion eludes mankind. Love is the hardest thing to describe and the easiest thing to feel. This whole articulation of this subject comes from a quote I read. This goes as “You do not love her because she is beautiful, she is beautiful because you love her”.

I truly feel this quote has more levels than it might seem. For me it tries to convey a truth unseen until now for me, Love is not a by-product of beauty, beauty is by-product of love.  We are loved by our family, and for them we are the most beautiful or handsome people alive. This is so because their love for us makes us beautiful.

A mother is an epitome of love, and she does not have a reason to love you, she loves you unconditionally. So as a person in love if you do not have a reason to love, you are in the most pure form of love. For any reason would not hold true for eternity, but love does. So by giving a reason to love (beauty, voice, eyes etc) you are giving an expiry date to it, which is ironic.

As a universal matter of fact love transcends ages and touches all lives. A love for a friend, family are but different faces of the same abstract emotion.  If we stop and try to comprehend this emotion and analyze in our own simple ways, we could be better receivers and givers.

This articulation is humble effort to understand the grand emotion that encompasses all of us.
